It has web interface with the same look and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Users view MPEG coded video and have full management of the software using net that surveillance server can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration extensively boosts reliability because all components proceed as independent programs. If one part stops working, other parts go on running. For example if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` module. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be started by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant pc through Web interface.
