CIB pdf brewer generates as virtual printer free PDF from within all Windows applications (capable for servers: Windows Terminal Server, CITRIX, network printer) with file size optimization, PDF encryption, fontembedding, watermarks, hyperlinks and e-mail delivery after the conversion. Separate toolbar icons for easily use within Microsoft Office are installable. The printer provides settings to configure the PDF appearance when opening, e.g. full-screen mode or continuous double page. Using the context menu of the file explorer files can be directly converted to PDF. The software allows joining of PDF documents and PDF attachments like images or other documents. In addition the PDF formats 1.3/1.4 are supported. The software provides detailed memory settings for choosing the location and file name, e.g. automated number assignment. The printer allows saving of different conversion settings for each application. The format e.pdf enables lossless re-editing of PDF files in Word. After the conversion any application can be started, optionally with parameters. Word forms can be directly converted to PDF forms without post-processing. The software enables long-term archiving with the output format PDF/A-1b. CAD programs and SAP are supported optimum. An API is available for developers.
