Extension renamer
v1.0
This application is intended for the purpose of batch renaming of file extensions. This can be achieved with any file extension and can be changed from anything to anything. Its primary function was for renaming the files that Imscan produces into .tif files.
Note that it is NOT a file converter. It will not change the contents of a file, merely rename the extension, so only files types that will accept extension changes can be manipulated.
Examples of files that this program could be used for include:
.doc (Word) -> .txt (Note/Wordpad) and back
If your computer uses proprietary file formats then these extensions may be able to be changed to make a file that can be accessible to other software.
Also included is a search function that will return all file types of a user specified format
