DBSync for MySQL and DB2 is a database synchronization tool which performs two-way conversion and synchronization from MySQL databases to DB2 and from DB2 to MySQL. The tool is also applicable for MySQL database replication to another MySQL database and is appropriate for copying DB2 to another DB2 database.

You can convert and synchronize MySQL with DB2 or DB2 with MySQL simply by configuring several options and by making some sync customizations through a Wizard interface or in command line mode. Command line parameters added to a scheduling function enables you to automatically synchronize or convert data regularly without user input and supplementary settings.

Insert sync is meant for adding new records from a source to a destination. Update sync is intended for replacing the altered records in a destination db. Drop sync type allows users to delete records from a destination db if these records were removed in the source. Update, Insert and Drop sync types together allow keeping distributed databases in agreement.

Filtering data during conversion allows users to retrieve only specific data for converted tables according to defined filtering criteria. Filters give you more control on the data migration process.
