gctool1
v1.0.1
gcTool1 is a program for the analysis of continuous beams, plane frames, trusses and grids.
The program can be used in any PC computer that counts with Windows of 32 or 64 bits. It does not have special memory requirements or special limits in terms of the number of nodes and bars that can be included in a model. Given the fact that it works in a graphic environment, the practical limit is established by the number of nodes and bars that can be handled in the screen.
Bars with constant or variable cross section can be included in the model. Loads in bars, uniform, linear, trapezoidal, triangular, parabolic, forces and concentrated moments are contemplated; in the nodes, forces and moments. Variations to the temperature of the bars and displacement of the supports can also be applied.
There can be created groups of combinations of basic load cases. The envelope of each group of combinations can be obtained. Several unit systems can be used. The program can be used in English or Spanish.
