DU Meter is a powerful and user-friendly tool that enables you to use your Internet connection more efficiently. It works with Dial-Up, ISDN, Cable Modem, and Ethernet cards. DU Meter can be configured to fit neatly in the blank space on your browser toolbar, preserving valuable desktop realestate. It also uses only a very small amount of Windows resources and memory.
DU Meter is a standalone utility whose installation involves no changes to your Windows system files. The current version includes several great features, including full logging capabilities, reporting, charting and alerts of network activity, auto-hide, an option to snap the window to the new mini mode, the ability to load with Windows and a readout in either kilobytes per second or kilobits per second which can be scaled to your own modem download capabilities. DU Meter also includes a handy stopwatch which accurately times downloads and reports the average transfer rates, plus full compatibility with Windows 2000/XP/Vista
