It is backward compliant to the Microsoft ODBC text driver, and supports loading ODBC schema file for table definition. It supports all transactions level. It supports concurrent database connections, and is thread safe. It supports embedded mode, remote access mode, memory-only database, compressed database, and url database. It supports ANSI SQL 92 standard, more than 230 sql functions, XOPEN SQLState, RMI, Jini, JNDI, and serialization.
