WinBlit Speedread uses a text presentation technique known as Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) and does so from within the Windows program that you are using. With RSVP the text you need to read is brought to your eyes as opposed to traditional reading in which your eyes move towards text.
Whenever you are browsing online or offline using Internet Explorer, reading e-mails in Microsoft Outlook or documents in Microsoft Word just the click of a toolbar button will bring up the text portion of the document in the WinBlit Text Window. The WinBlit Text Window uses RSVP to help you read the document with greater speed and comprehension.
WinBlit can also be operated as a standalone application called BlitPad which can speedread text files plus any text you copy and paste in from any other document (the windows clipboard).
WinBlit Speedread is infinitely configurable allowing you to change fonts, colors, speed of reading and store these settings in preset configurations. Other features include a choice of operation modes (keyboard shortcuts, context menu and toolbar), statistical display (to monitor your reading speed) and the full ability change the way it looks to create your own personal Windows Speedreader.
