The software has been created as universal program for surveillance hybrid platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the program via net that surveillance workstation can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition extensively increases reliability because all components operate as autonomous software. If one unit stops working, other components keep on running. For instance if the `record` component freezes, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` module. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant server via Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
