Captain FTP

Save time and money by letting Captain FTP do all the work for you. Captain FTP 4.3 introduces

the labour saving Automation Manager. User can now Automate the transfer of files/folders to happen on the date and time they choose. Users can schedule jobs to run outside of office hours, off-peak times, or even schedule jobs which will run at the same time every day, or every week. Simply select the files/folders to be transferred and tell Captain FTP the where and when – Captain FTP will take of it care for you. The already innovative, indispensable Tabbed Interface now offers users an even bigger helping hand to manage multiple servers and connections. All Open Tabs can now be viewed or selected from the Open Tabs drop-down list. Active Tabs are now highlighted to show users which sites are currently performing an operation.

Apple’s Finder Sidebar has been added to the favorites menu with Tool Tips to help users quickly navigate to their favorite sites, or favorite folders on a server.

Captain FTP sets the mark with new technology advances, and is the very first FTP Client to allow local network FTP users to share files directly between each other. This concept provides users with a platform to share their work, and collaborate on projects before their work is published on a remote FTP Server, particularly benefiting business users or groups of users, who can share their work securely, privately, and quickly.

This required a new approach, with the address book divided into separate parts; consisting of local Network users, Private FTP entries, and Public FTP entries that can be shared to share files, but only with users authorized and approved by the host.
