Directory Size is the program allowing to spend disk space visualization and disk usage visualization. The program which allows receiving the information about what is a hard disk, showing disk usage and folder structure by several pressing of buttons.
The program works by the principle of windows. It means that it consists of several windows, in each of which the user can carry out certain actions. Here are the basic maintenance of these windows.
The first window is the bottom left one. It shows disk usage in the PC. Thanks to the window you can view disk usage, see what disks in your PC occupy what place.
The second window is top left one. A choice window. This window also shows disk usage but differently. This is a window of directory choice for analysis. In this one you can view disk usage, choose a necessary directory for the analysis, see folder tree. Using the option "Scan", you can choose any directory or a disk to analyze its maintenance.
For disk space visualization and disk usage visualization the third window (top right) is used. However here visualization is conditional. The program gives the chance to look through the structure of the analyzed folder including folders and files. Besides, you can see what size of the elements which are the part of the investigated folder, their extension, the arrangement, quantity etc. The additional means of the analysis which shows disk usage are sorting and data filter. Besides, the program allows to look through directory structure by specially chosen criterion – for example, to extension or file owner.
The last fourth window (bottom right one) spends disk space visualization and disk usage visualization. By means of this window it is possible to look through visual results of the analysis, pies and bars, to choose a color background and many other things.
